Restorative Yoga through deep breathing and longer postures brings about a relaxation response. This response has been known to reduce blood pressure, slow down breathing, and bring about a sense of calm and well being. Restorative Yoga is connected to longevity and a few of the benefits include better flexibility and balance, stilling a busy mind, balancing the nervous system, releasing muscle tension, and boosting the immune system.
